City of Zhumadian, Henan is translated as "resting place for horses". In ancient China it was located on a major highway. Many travelers and their horses rested in this area. The city is also considered in the center of ancient China, thus the name "center of the world". Zhumadian has a population of about 7 million. However, it has a large number of handicapped people. Upon request of Federation of Disabled people in Henan, China, HIS Foundation donated 400 wheelchairs to the indigent patients. A 14-memeber wheelchair team traveled from Los Angeles to Zhumadian to assemble and distributed the wheelchairs. Many were surprised to receive the donation.
May God bless you abundantly!
Sincerely,
James Lau, M.D. Board Chairman
